4yo girl found dead in apparent leopard attack

BAITADI, Sept 4: A girl missing since an apparent attack by a leopard was found dead today. She was reportedly attacked by a leopard on Saturday.

The body of Anjali, the four-year-old daughter of Kafadi in Udayadev-2 was found some 800 meters away from her house, according to DSP at the District Police Office Bal Narsingh Rana. Her body was found near the Ratyal River with a severed head.

Soon after the attack, locals and police had launched a search for her but in vain. In a similar incident, a seven-year-old girl was also killed by a leopard on August 20.

So far, 22 people have died in the area after being attacked by a leopard. RSS
