"Our demands have now been fulfilled," said General Secretary of Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE), Saroj Sitaula. "The pre-booking will now open from September 23."

Entrepreneurs have demanded that the Kalanki-Nagdhunga road section should be repaired as soon as possible, Narayanghat-Muglin road extension work should be stopped till October 16, Super Deluxe buses' fares should be fixed and temporary route permits should be provided to the vehicles.

As per the DoTM, the ticket booking will be available to various routes from September 23 till October 11. The spokesperson of DoTM, Basanta Adhikari further added that if the tickets are not provided from the counters or if fares charged unreasonably, the passengers can register their complaints at the police department or the DoTM.

Among four million people living inside the valley, around 2.6 million people are traveling to their respective homes for the upcoming Dashain festival as per the previous year's status. Only on Phulpati and Astami alone, around 400,000 people exit the valley for the festival.

Super deluxe hikes its bus fares

With Dashain festival around the corner, super deluxe and A/C buses have now increased 20 percent more than its regular bus fares.
