LAHAN, Oct 4: Two people have died in separate incidents in Siraha district. 

A man died after being drowned in a pond in Itarwa VDC in Siraha district on Monday evening.

The deceased is identified as Anuj Yadav, 24, of Itarwa VDC-7, police said.

According to Area Police Office, Lahan, Yadav drowned to death after he slipped over into the pond near his house while he was bathing.

Similarly, Domi Sah, 70 died after he suddenly fell down onto the floor at Sukhipur Municipality-9.

Sah fell down to death while he was returning home after work in Lahan Municipality-14-based field belonging to Suresh Chaudhari, said Area Police Office, Lahan.
