CHITWAN, Oct 17: Minister for Education, Dhaniram Poudel, has said that the government has forwarded a task along with concept of a university in all provinces. 

He said that the Ministry has made preparation to table the Higher Education Bill in the Parliament for that purpose. 

Minister Poudel said so while speaking at an interaction organised by Nepal Public Campus Association here today. 

He further said that they are going to forward the Higher Education Act amendment Bill to establish in the form of an umbrella act in the education sector. Task related to establishment of university would be forwarded by forming Higher Education Commission after formulation of Act, said Minister Poudel. 

Stating that he would provide all necessary support from his side for the establishment of Public University in Chitwan, he said there are now more than 750 public campuses in the country and it was the need of hour to move ahead by government after taking the public campuses together. RSS
