Chaotic and hectic, that’s what my life looks like right now. With project deadlines and a never-ending queue of assessments and viva, I was engulfed with my own problems. The current weather condition correctly personifies the socio-political temperament of the nation, or at least in the province of 1, 5 and 7. Along with the rising temperature, political landscape is in frenzy with former adversaries now allies and vice-versa. What is more peculiar is the tie-up between forces opposite in nature who in past couldn’t stand each other. Politics is said to be ever-changing, belonging to none and rightfully so. The new formed pact goes to show how unexpected this election is, with none wanting to take a chance and willing to forego their ideologies in hopes to win the coming election.

See no evil, hear no evil, and say no evil. This is the three monkey principle that every one of us has come across at one point in our lives. Additionally, our schools also preached the motto ‘Be good, Do good’. But what they fail to encompass is just because you close your eyes, the inherent evil in this world doesn’t dissipate, just like closing your eyes doesn’t transform day into night.

It’s in the nature of every social animal; they inherit some traits from their surrounding and adapt themselves accordingly to better suit their existence. Humans too adapt themselves; morphing themselves to suit their respective environment. So people are bound to share culture, adapting to what suits best to them and foregoing those they consider to be a hindrance or a malpractice with respect to time. With time cultures merge making it indistinguishable from the other. So do the origin of rituals and true motives of our ancestors in establishing the said rules and regulation known as culture.
