Capital Market Struggle Committee stages protest demanding protection of domestic investors (Photo Feature)

KATHMANDU, April 27: The Capital Market Struggle Committee staged a protest in Maitighar under the slogan "Protect domestic investors or shut down stock market" today. 

The demonstration aimed to highlight the challenges faced by Nepali investors and called for a halt in issuing IPOs at premium prices until these issues are addressed.

The protestors carried placards reading ‘We are investors, not beggars’, ‘Protect domestic investors, if not, close the stock market’. Here are some photos taken by Republica’s photo journalist Dipesh Darshandhari:
