CHITWAN, May 11: Three heavyweights of three big parties are all set to address different election gatherings to be organized by their respective parties in Chitwan today.

Prime Minister and CPN(Maoist Center) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka Prachanda and Nepali Congress(NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba are scheduled to address joint mass meeting to be organized by the two parties-NC and CPN(Maoist Center), which have forged an electoral alliance.

Likewise, CPN(UML) chairman KP Oli will be addressing a mass meeting to be organized by his party on the last day of election campaign.

CPN(Maoist Center) and NC have forged an electoral alliance in some local units including Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

The NC has agreed to support Maoist Center mayoral candidate  Renu Dahal. Likewise, CPN(Maoist Center) has agreed to support NC Deputy mayoral candidate Parbati Shah.

NC mayoral aspirant Dinesh Koirala and Maoist Center deputy mayoral aspirant Surendra Gurung  withdrew their candidacies after electoral alliance was forged.  

CPN(UML) will be organizing mass meeting at Narayangadh Buspark whereas NC and CPN(Maoist Center) will be organizing joint mass meeting at Bharatpur-based Central Buspark

Security has been beefed up ahead of the mass meetings to be organized in Chitwan district today, Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhatta at District Administration Office, Chitwan told Republica Online.
