KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has refuted allegations of his involvement in the massive corruption in the Ncell share sale case. Speaking during a meeting with Press Center Nepal officials at the party's central office in Paris Danda on Monday, the prime minister expressed objection to the spreading of misinformation against the government and vowed to retaliate against those who spread misinformation.

During the meeting, PM Dahal shared that he encountered a significant conspiracy while returning from Dubai and emphasized his commitment to the nation, people, constitution, and democracy. He addressed the allegations of corruption, stating, "I did whatever I had to do in the interest of the nation, in the interest of the people, in the interest of our constitution and our democracy."

"It was propagated that PM Dahal has corruption exceeding the earlier corruption scandals in the Ncell share sale case,” he stated. He highlighted that the current focus should be on completing the remaining aspects of the peace process and suggested there might be a conspiracy to destabilize the government.

PM Dahal said, “I met the victims including the families of martyrs and missing warriors in Baluwatar on Sunday, it was difficult for some people to digest it.” He claimed that there was a conspiracy to attack to suppress positive initiatives after the rest of the peace process was about to be completed. PM Dahal said, “Suppressing good works and propagandizing is the work of reactionaries, opportunists. We will unveil the truth.”
