Family and supporters march to TU Teaching Hospital following dispatch of Pokharel’s postmortem report without consent (In Pictures)

KATHMANDU, March 3: Family members and supporters protesting for justice for Shalin Pokhrel were shocked to learn that the postmortem report had been dispatched to Chitwan without their knowledge upon their arrival at the hospital. Frustrated with this and unable to access the report, they decided to march towards the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital building.

Doctors at the Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu conducted the postmortem of Pokhrel's body after her family members demanded a post-mortem in Kathmandu.

Earlier today, the post-mortem report of Shalin Pokhrel, who was found dead in a hostel in Chitwan, has indicated that she was not raped before her death as claimed by her family members.
