TAPLEJUNG, Oct 10: Three houses at Sagadin Market at Kehwang VDC in Taplegunj district were reduced to ashes in a fire that broke out on Monday morning. 

The houses of Shree Prasad Bhattarai of Khewang-4, Thakur Prasad Dahal and Krishna Prasad of the same place were destroyed by the fire. 

Although, police are yet to determine the cause of fire, locals said that fire sparked from a stack of firewood piled the house of Krishna Prasad Dahal at 1 am. 

Household goods, including food grains, clothes and other goods were gutted by the fire, according to Khewang Police Post. 

The police and locals jointly battled the blaze for hours which was eventually put off in the morning, police said. 

No human casualty was reported in the incident. RSS
