Gold price rises by Rs 500 per tola

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: The price of gold has surged by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market today.

The price of fine gold stands at Rs 113,000 per tola today. The precious metal was traded at Rs 112,500 per tola yesterday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

Similarly, the price of standard gold rose from Rs 111,950 per tola on Monday to Rs 112,450 per tola on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 5 per tola. Silver which was traded at Rs 1,405 per tola on Monday is being sold at Rs 1,410 per tola on Tuesday.
