Fashion designer Manisha Dangol Shrestha, who has been running the London Fashion House in two locations at UK’s Hayes and South Harrow since six years, has launched a new showroom in Khusibu on Saturday.
The showroom was inaugurated by Bhaban Bhatta, President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRAN).
Speaking on the occasion Bhatta said, “There are around four million Nepalis abroad and we are encouraging them to use Nepali products. Manisha has done a commendable work by establishing a new showroom in Kathmandu and it definitely encourages Nepali designers here.”
Actor/choreographer/model Prashant Tamrakar, who was also present at the event, said Manisha had worked her magic in the fashion scene for around a decade and her initiation of opening a showroom here had surely promoted the works of Nepali designers.
Moreover, Manisha is also the director of London Fashion House. She said, “Currently a dozen Nepali designers are working in London Fashion House. I launched the showroom in Kathmandu keeping in mind those designers who are not able to own a boutique.”
At the showroom, one can get customized clothing for all age groups and for all occasions.
