Koshi Province Assembly meeting: Division of votes begins

BIRATNAGAR, June 30:  The division of votes has started for the resolution regarding the vote of confidence put forward by the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki. In today's provincial assembly meeting, after answering the question raised by the MPs yesterday, the proposal regarding the vote of confidence was submitted. Now the votes are being divided for the sponsorship of the vote of confidence.

Answering the questions raised by the MPs, Chief Minister Karki proposed to form a consensus government and asked for a vote of confidence.

The meeting of the Koshi Province assembly, which was adjourned till 8PM on Thursday, resumed at 12 on Friday.

The meeting, which was adjourned for half an hour at 5:30 PM yesterday, was convened at 8 PM after the Chief Minister and ministers did not come at the scheduled time. As the chief minister and ministers were absent from the meeting till 9:30, the meeting was adjourned till 11 o'clock on Friday.
