Laxmi Bank opens branch office in Old Baneshwar

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Laxmi Bank has opened a new branch office at Old Baneshwar, Kathmandu.

Issuing a statement, the bank said that the new branch office aims to offer a wide range of banking services for the wider economic spectrum -- from individuals to small and mid-sized businesses.

Laxmi Bank recently acquired Professional Diyalo Bikas Bank, which, according to the bank, has strengthened its retail banking business through new customers and markets. The bank recorded operating profit of around Rs 1.15 billion in Fiscal Year 2015/2016.
