KATHMANDU, April 17: Madhesh Province Chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari has reshuffled the Council of Ministers of the province upon the recommendation of Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.

CM Yadav decided to reshuffle the provincial government after the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) Nepal decided not to support Chief Minister Yadav for the vote of confidence.

The Council of Ministers was reshuffled after Ramesh Prasad Kurmi, who previously served as the Forest and Environment Minister on behalf of LSP Nepal, quit from his post.

After Kurmi stepped down, CM Yadav decided to take charge of the Ministry of Forest and Environment himself.
