Members of int’l drug trafficking gang arrested with cocaine: Police

KATHMANDU, May 16: The police have arrested alleged drug traffickers in possession of a large quantity of cocaine.

The Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor, conducted the arrest, alleging that the individuals detained are part of an international drug trafficking gang.

The police seized the cocaine intended for transit through Nepal to a third country.

The police said that they will provide journalists with further information regarding the identities of the arrested individuals and the quantity of cocaine seized shortly.
