NC condemns attack on its Joint General-Secretary Yadav

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The Nepali Congress has taken strong exception to the physical attack on Joint General-Secretary of the party, Mahendra Yadav, and condemned it. 

The party strongly condemns the incident that occurred on Wednesday, reads a press release issued by NC Chief Secretary, Krishna Prasad Paudel.   

Yadav was attacked as he left a programme organized at Reporters' Club. He is now undergoing treatment at Trauma Centre in Kathmandu. 

The NC has demanded the government to carry out an investigation into the case and take stern action against those involved in the incident. The party also wished Yadav a speedy recovery.
