New Škoda Rapid hits the Nepali roads

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Skoda in Nepal has launched New Škoda Rapid in the domestic market. Issuing a statement, the company said that the new car has efficient and dynamic 7-speed DSG gearbox with Tiptronics mated to the 1.5 TDI diesel engine.

According to the company, the New Škoda Rapid has a generous heart and comes with two engine variants-- a new 1.5L TDI diesel engine and the 1.6L MPI petrol engine. “We have been market leader in this segment and we are convinced that addition of this new variant will assure our leadership,” Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, managing director of MAW Enterprises, said in the statement.
