CHITWAN, Dec 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that no agreement has been reached on holding local polls under the existing structures of VDCs and municipalities.

He retreated that the government has no plans to withdraw the constitution amendment bill.

“The proposal will now enter the House’s business. The bill is for holding elections,” said PM Dahal at a press meet organized by Press Center, Chitwan, “Those committed to constitution implementation and national unity will stand in favor of the bill.”
