NSU ex-general secretary Bhurtel passes away

KATHMANDU, June 1: Former General Secretary of Nepal Student Union (NSU), Shiva Bhurtel has passed away. 

Bhurtel, who contributed much to the democratic movement of Nepal, breathed his last in the United States of America on Wednesday evening. 

Bhurtel, who was undergoing cancer treatment at Colorado of the US, passed away at 9.00 pm Wednesday, shared NSU President Nain Singh Mahar. 

Mahar said that the demise of Bhurtel has caused an irreparable loss to NSU, Nepali Congress and democratic movement of Nepal. RSS
