DANG, Sept 26: A child was killed in a road accident at Pawannagar-5 Kumalgaudhi in the district this morning, said police. 

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Chaudhary, 7, of the locality. 

Chuadhary died while undergoing treatment at Tulsipur Zonal Hospital as he was hit by a jeep (Ra 1 Ja 386). 

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle. 

Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased are protesting at the incident side demanding compensations and action the driver. RSS
