One drowns in river, another missing

MAKAWANPUR, August 21: A person died and another went missing after being drowned in a river in Kailash Rural Municipality, Makawanpur.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjuk Praja, 33, from Kaliash Rural Municipality. The one missing is Maili Maya Rumba, 46. They both were swept away by the river while crossing it, said Tek Bahadur Karki, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Makawanpur. The search for Rumba is underway. 

The dead body was found on the bank of the river in Kailash-9. They were crossing the river on their way back home and were swept away by the river. Police, locals and public representatives are searching for the missing woman.
