KATHAMNDU, March 13: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the esteemed parliament is not a suitable place for accusations and recriminations.

Before seeking the vote of confidence, the Prime Minister addressed the House of Representatives today and said that private and personal objections should not be made within parliament.

"The government reorganization is purely a political process, but some colleagues from the Nepali Congress party chose to interpret it politically and levied personal accusations and attacks against me," Prime Minister Dahal said. "I did not want to respond to the accusations, but it is not appropriate to use parliament for personal allegations and counter-allegations, and I believe so."

PM Dahal said that he had opted to withhold certain responses, “but neglecting to address accusations within the parliamentary records could convey a misleading impression to future generations.”
