KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Qatar Airways has announced a special promotional sales in Nepal, offering discounts of up to 50 percent.

The promotion will continue until August and tickets are valid for travel between 1 August, 2016 and 31 March, 2017.

Issuing a statement, the airline said leisure travel with families or business travelers can use this offer.

"This offer is particularly focused on the next holiday in Nepal. Or any business traveler can book their tickets in advance," it added.

The airline also operates non-stop flights via Doha to other key US destinations for Nepali travelers including New York, Washington, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia and Miami.

Qatar Airways has operates three flights a day Kathmandu to Doha, connecting Nepal to over 150 destinations worldwide.
