KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The members of parliament and House of Representatives election candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are going to the voters' homes remembering their commitment.

The assistant general secretary of the party Kabindra Burlakoti said that the party leaders are going door to door to the people’s homes to listen to their queries from Saturday to Monday.

“We have prepared to go to the doorsteps of voters and collect suggestions. We will listen to their complaints," said Burlakoti adding, "In the past, during the election, we made promises in a hurry. We will listen to what is rising in the minds of the citizens about the working style of the party’s MPs, leaders and activists.”

Burlakoti said that 131 candidates including seven directly elected MPs of RSP and 107 candidates including 13 proportionally elected MPs will be visiting the voters at their doorsteps.

He also said that the central committee, provinces, district, constituency, municipality and ward level committees will be mobilized for this. “We will run all 6 levels of committees including the candidates of the constituency. We will collect suggestions," he said.

RSP is going to visit the voters at their homes in the context of the completion of one year of the House of Representatives elections. The joint meeting of the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party of RSP held on November 10 had decided to conduct the door-to-door program.

Similarly, the RSP is going to hold a joint meeting of the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party at Jaleshwar in Mahottari from November 27 to 29. In the meeting, preparations have been made for discussions on the party's political and ideological documents.
