KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Chances of a snowfall are likely today in the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudur Paschim (Far Western) provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the country now has a slight impact of the westerly wind. 

It is said that the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Province 1, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country this afternoon.

Tonight, the weather is likely to remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Province 1, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the other provinces.

The Division has also urged one and all to adopt precautions as the weather in the Terai region will be foggy in the morning, affecting normal life, and road and aerial travels.
