Soaltee provides hospitality training to airport taxi drivers

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu has been organized various events and activities since November 25 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Issuing a statement, the hotel said it, together with Metropolitan Traffic Police, conducted a five-day training on 'Welcome Tourists and Road Safety' for 200 airport taxi drivers under 'Athithi lai Khushi Rakhau - Lets Keep our Tourist Happy' initiative. "The training covered various aspects on giving our tourists a welcoming feel after they land at our airports and also on safe drive on the road," the statement added.

The participants were awarded with certificates in the presence of the officials of Metropolitan Traffic Police officials, Hawai Yatru Yatayat Sewa Byabastha Ltd and the hotel's general manager Upaul Majumdar. 

"Few participants were interviewed after the training course and the feedback received from them was - they have found the training very useful and informative. This initiative was highly appreciated by the participants and encouraged these sessions to be organized on regular intervals," the statement added.
