KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Suvidha Sewa Private Limited, a staffing and recruitment company, concluded its interdepartmental futsal competition on December 18, which was organized on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

In the tournament, four men's teams named Argentina, Brazil, France and Germany as well as two women's teams named Argentina and Portugal competed for the trophy. France from the male teams and Argentina from the female teams won the tournament.

Team France won the match by defeating team Germany by 2-0. Team France was led by Prabesh Manandhar while team Germany was led by Samir Shrestha. Similarly, the women’s team Argentina won the tournament by defeating Portugal by 4-0. The girl’s team Argentina was led by Merisha Shilpakar and team Portugal by Shuchi Shrestha. 

Likewise, various awards were also distributed after the tournament. Under the men’s team, the best player award was given to Bibek Shakya of team Argentina, best keeper to Surendra Shahi of team Brazil and the highest scorer was Amit Raj Pant of team Brazil. Team Argentina won the fair play award.

Under the women’s team, the best player award went to Dikshya Dhakal of team Argentina while Sharmila Shahi of team Portugal won the best goal-keeper award. Merisha Shilpakar of team Argentina was the highest scorer of the tournament. Team Portugal won the fair play award.
