T20I Series: Netherlands-Namibia face-off for spot in final

Nepal has already secured its spot in the final

KATHMANDU, March 3: The Netherlands and Namibia are facing each other today in a  crucial match of the tri-nations T20I series currently underway in Kathmandu.

With Nepal securing their place in the final by defeating the Dutch team by six wickets on Saturday, the Netherlands and Namibia are battling for the spot as another finalist today.

Despite their loss on Saturday, the Netherlands sit atop the points table alongside Nepal, with both teams having accumulated 4 points each. However, the Netherlands holds the edge over Nepal due to a superior net run rate.

For Namibia to secure their spot in the final, they’ll need to defeat the Netherlands by a significant margin. On the other hand, if the Netherlands emerge victorious today, they will advance to the final as the group winner.

The final match of the series is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
