Till we meet again

Till we meet again

What I have realized is there is always so much to learn from a situation, a person, and even from the hardest of times. Difficult days mend a person to be stronger.

A person I know always helped people around him, brought smiles to people’s faces created an impact in numerous lives. There are many who feel blessed to have known a person like him. People from different walks of life remember him dotingly, while people of different age groups are inspired by his discipline toward life.

I can’t cease to describe the stirring life of my dad, who took care of me since I came to this planet, and many others. He was a perfectionist and his work would start and finish with detailed and calculations. His principles were strong, yet he was open to suggestions.

His calm and patient nature had left many mesmerized. His simplicity taught many that life is all about small things, that happiness can be acquired from enjoying a cup of tea, at home on a beautiful day.

I have seen people talk about positivity and simple life, but believing and practicing it is rare. His love for nature made the garden of our house look different each quarter. He took care of smallest maintenances in the house, from fixing tube lights to painting walls. He knew everything, he managed all of it, he was a superhero, my super dad.

The little time that god gave us with him has become a treasure. While he is gone, he has left us many things that we can still learn from, that was the beauty of my dad.

He taught us how we are stuck in things that really don’t matter in the end, he has made us realize how uncertain life can be, and that one cannot race against time.

My dad has taught us to question our purpose in life and why each one of us struggle so hard for materialistic things, which are of no use in a larger form. He has taught us, with his own examples, that a true warrior needs to conquer oneself.

He has given us many directions; it is upon us to choose. The only thing is that could and would have learnt all of it, but not at the cost of letting you go and not meeting you again.

till we meet again,
