KATHMANDU, March 30: Tribhuvan University (TU) is set to offer question papers for undergraduate-level examination in both English and Nepali languages.

A meeting of the Standing Committee of the University Academic Council on Thursday decided that question papers for all faculties at the undergraduate level will be prepared in both English and Nepali languages.

There has been a growing demand for higher-level education including bachelor's and master's courses offered by TU to be available in both Nepali and English languages.

The meeting also confirmed that this bilingual approach will be compulsory starting from the next first-year exams of all bachelor's programs, extending to the second, third, and fourth years in the following years.
