US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu pays courtesy call on NC President Deuba

KATHMANDU, July 14: US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu has paid a courtesy call on Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday. 

President Deuba tweeted that there was a constructive discussion on strengthening Nepal-US relations during the meeting. "I am happy to have had a fruitful meeting with the US Assistant Secretary of State, Donald Lu. There was a constructive discussion on strengthening Nepal-US relations,” he tweeted. 

Lu, who oversees matters related to Central and South Asia of the US State Department, arrived in Nepal today during his visit to South Asian nations.
