World Cup Qualifier: Nepal to play against UAE today

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Nepal is going to play against UAE today in the Asian Zone Round 2 to qualify for the World Cup in 2026.

Nepal is going to start the second round of the World Cup qualifiers by playing an 'away match' against the UAE in the first match of the second round of the World Cup football qualifiers.

The match between Nepal and UAE will start at 9:30 PM at Al-Maktoum Stadium in UAE. Bahrain and Yemen are also included in Group 'H' where Nepal is playing along with UAE. Nepal defeated Laos in the first round and qualified for the second round.

The 23-member team is in UAE under the captaincy of national team captain Kiran Chemjong.

Before the match against UAE, national team coach Vincenzo Alberto Ennis said that they have prepared well for the competition.
