Mahato begins fast-unto-death

REPUBLICA
KATHMANDU, May 21: Accusing the government of being indifferent to their 10-point demands, Chairman of Sadbhawana Party (SP) and former minister Rajendra Mahato has launched a fast-unto-death.

Mahato on Tuesday launched a fast-unto-death at Shanti Batika in the capital after rounds of talks with the Interim Election Council did not yeild results. SP has floated 10-point demands, including announcement of election date and fresh delineation of electoral constituencies before the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.“ [More]

  DIY DECOR Bathroom ideas
  BY THE WEEK BUREAU

A bathroom is more than a room of necessity; it’s a place for pampering. It should be beautiful as well as efficient and easy to clean. While decorating, we tend to focus on the living spaces and bedroom and even the kitchen, but more often than not, the bathroom is relatively neglected. The bathroom might be the smallest one in the house but that doesn’t mean it can’t be big on style.

There are some basic things you can do to make your small bathroom seem comparatively larger. Firstly, removing the feeling of clutter can be achieved by replacing the huger version of washbasin for a pedestal sink. Choose a cool tall sink that matches the overall style of the interior to enjoy the extra space. Buying a small bathtub is also a great solution, especially when there are so many chic models out there. Large floor tiles as well as light color paint on the walls give the feeling of space, whereas dark hues inspire crowdedness.
