  Bhandari calls on prez

KATHMANDU, June 23: Madhes-based leader Sharat Singh Bhandari on Saturday called on President Ram Baran Yadav at Shital Niwas.

According to Bhandari, they discussed the current political situation.

"He (president) maintained that political parties must forge consensus to give outlet for the current political deadlock," said Bhandari.

Bhandari also said that political parties must not drag the president, who is also the head of the state, into any controversy.
