KATHMANDU, July 22: Along with Purushottam Chaulagain of Sankardev College, 12 other players shared lead by the end of third round on Sunday in the First Kathford National University Chess Tournament.
Shyam Babu Shah, Sushil Chaudhary, Prashan Bhasima, Rousan Kumar Jaiswal, Nikesh Duwal, Suraj Pandit, Suman Rai, Suryasan Prajapati, Anil Kumar Pun Magar, Prasun Jajodia, Kailash Kumar Shahi and Arjun Thapa have three points each from three rounds. Ashis Acharya, Suroj Karmacharya, Prakash Nepal, Madan Krishna Kayastha, Lokendra Singh Thagunna, Binod Timilsina, Sagesh Adhikari and Madan Aryal are in the second position with 2.5 points apiece.
