JANAKPURDHAM, Aug 19: Chairman of the newly formed CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidya has claimed the Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA) is just aimed at remaining in the state power.
Talking to media persons at Janakpur Airport on Sunday, Baidya said that the new alliance among the ruling parties and some fringe parties could not find a way out to the prolonged political deadlock in the country. Rather, it is just meant for continuing the incumbent government, he added.
The government should step down and let the formation of a pro-people national consensus government to conduct the constituent assembly (CA) elections, he said.
