ITAHARI, Aug 19: Police have arrested a man for allegedly raping his 10-year-old daughter in Itahari on Sunday. Maule Darjee of Janata Basti in Itahari-5 of Sunsari district was handed over to police by the locals after finding him showing a porn movie to his daughter.
The girl had earlier shared with the locals about her father´s mistreatment toward her and him showing pornography when she was alone at home. The father had been threatening his daughter against making his act public, the police quoted the victim as saying.
The victim is a five grader at local Raktamala Lower Secondary School. Meanwhile, Mala Darjee, mother of the victim, has lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Itahari, against her husband for his wrongdoing.
