BUTWAL, Oct 10: Cadres of the Unified CPN (Maoist) hurled stones at the vehicle of Minister for Industry Mahendra Prasad Yadav in Butwal on Saturday.
Glasses of the vehicle have smashed after the cadres hurled stones. The vehicle with registered number plate Lu 1 Jha 234 belongs to the district development committee, Rupandehi.
Cadres of the UCPN (Maoist) had shown black flags to the minister in Tinau Pool while Minister Yadav was heading towards Butawal from Kapilvastu to inaugurate the assembly of Rupandehi chamber of commerce.
It is learnt that Minister Yadav did not suffer from any injury.
