MAHENDRANAGAR, Oct 13: An activist of the underground Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Jwala (JTMM-Jwala) Singh has been arrested from Brahmadev bazaar in Kanchanpur district on Monday.
Tej Bahadur Bogati, 22, a resident of Dadeldhura was arrested while he was demanding donations from shopkeepers. Bogati admitted that he worked as an active member of the armed group since the past two years, the police said. Bogati has also revealed that several armed activists affiliated to JTMM have actively been engaged in extortions in Kanchanpur.
