DANG, Oct 14: Locals in west Dang torched a taxi and obstructed the Dang-Surkhet road section after the taxi hit a minor to death on Wednesday.
Police said four-year-old Kavita Giri died after the taxi hit her in Hekuli VDC on Wednesday morning. A 10-year-old boy was also injured in the accident.
The victim´s kin have demanded compensation for the family and action against the taxi driver. The driver is at large.
