BIRATNAGAR, Oct 15: Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala, who has been facing criticism from within the party over his daughter´s promotion, on Thursday said that his party should not be engaged in petty issues.
"Nepali Congress should not care small issues and it should move ahead united," Koirala, who arrived here on Wednesday, said while unveiling the statues of the late BP Koirala and Nona Koirala.
Koirala´s comments have come at a time when his party has been divided over the appointment of his daughter Sujata Koirala as deputy prime minister.
"Small incidents happen in the party. They should not be taken seriously," he said.

More often, such incidents happen in Nepali congress party and initially the issue mounts at a high altitude and the rest members of the party after a meet with GPK turns into cold like the lazzawati plant why? Why the party leader always make finally foolish to the other leaders even after he decides useless upon his whim. No, It´s a big issue. Girija thinks it´s a "petty issue" if it is for him or his daughter. Girija and Sujata must be investigated in Dhamija, Lauda and other scandals, and put into jail if found guilty.
