MYAGDI, Oct 19: A fair-weather motorable road has been constructed from Banbadegaon in north Parbat up to Kafaldanda, Ramche VDC in Myagdi district through local efforts.
The road was constructed with the money collected by the local people. The ten kilometers long road was constructed at the total cost of Rs. 3.7 million that was collected from the local people as donation.
People of Nagi, Ramche, Kafaldanda, Histan and surrounding areas have been benefited with the construction of the road, according to the local users´ committee.
It has now become easy to take the local agriculture produce to the market. This area is famous in the district as potato growing area.
The users´ committee plans to extend the road up to Histan VDC next year if the government allocates grants for the road construction.
