ITAHARI, Oct 29: Locals have continued with their protests demanding construction of a regional stadium in Itahari.
The talks held between District Administration Office (DAO), Sunsari and protestors on Thursday to end the strike ended inconclusively. The locals have been staging protests since Wednesday.
It was stated in the last budget speech that a regional stadium would be built in Sunsari. However, since the budget speech did not specifically mention where the stadium would be built, locals from the neighboring towns have also been demanding that the stadium be built in their own towns.
