Man abducted, shot dead in Siraha

REPUBLICA

LAHAN, Nov 11: An unidentified group abducted and shot dead Pramod Kumar Sah in Siraha on Tuesday night.

The armed gang abducted Sah while he was sleeping at his home at Bhotiyatol, Padriya-9 of Siraha on Tuesday night and shot him dead at a nearby ground.

Police found his body on Wednesday morning.

Locals said that immediately after the abduction, they heard two rounds of firing. According to police, Sah was shot on his head and body.

Police said that the gang had asked Sah for Rs 1,500,000 as donation. They suspect that Sah’s denial to provide the sum is the cause of the murder.

This is the first murder case in the district after the government implemented the Special Security Plan.
