  G'Five launches TV phones

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: G´Five mobile has introduced mobile TV phones of various models in the market. According to a press release, Call Mobility -- the sole authorized distributor of G´Five mobiles -- introduced K300, K600, Mini E71 and N79, which are models with TV tuning function.


These phones will enable user to tune their favorite TV channels, states the release, adding that the newly launched models also have all modern features such as Bluetooth, HD camera and MP3/MP4 among others.

The company has also announced one-year warranty on both hardware and software and six months warranty on battery. The series starts at Rs 6,500


Yamaha Care Camp from Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Nov 16:  Morang Auto Works, the sole authorized dealer of Yamaha motorcycles for Nepal, is organizing its latest Yamaha Care Camp for 150 CC segment Yamaha motorcycles from Tuesday.

The four-day camp, which is being held at Bhrikuti Mandap, aims to facilitate Yamaha customers with additional benefits from the company.

A press release issued by the company states that the camp is offering free check-ups by company engineers, free tube seal, saree guard foot step, free bike wash and free labor charges.

The company is also offering 10 percent off in spares parts, 20 percent discount in Yamaha Lube and 20 percent off in Yamaha Apparels RTC (Ride Tech Challenge) to its customers. Customers can also get opportunity to win lots of attractive prizes.


SCB branch in New Road

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal (SCB) has opened a branch in New Road, Kathmandu.

Issuing a statement, the bank said it opened the new branch, inaugurated by SCB CEO Sujit Mundul on Monday at People´s Plaza, with the view of providing better service and reach to clients, particularly in the Small and Medium Enterprises segment. It said the branch aims to provide holistic banking solutions.

The bank has 18 points of representation and 23 ATMs across the country, it said.
