  NRNA meet talks investment

WASHINGTON DC, May 29: The ongoing fourth Non Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) Regional Conference in Houston of Texas has discussed about social service and investment in Nepal.

According to a press release issued by NRNA, the participants discussed the role of NRNs in socioeconomic transformation of Nepal. The participants stressed for more institutionalization of NRN´s investment in social sector.


Anjan Shrestha, executive member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) said the possibility of economic cooperation between US and Nepal is huge as a Nepal-America Trade Agreement set to be signed.

In the conference chaired by NRNA Vice President Jiba Lamichhane, participants also discussed the agenda of Nepali women scattered around the world. They also discussed earthquake risks in Nepal and rescue measures.

The Sunday session of the conference is set to focus on open university concept and NRN´s investment in Nepal, according to the release.

The conference is being participated by around 300 persons including NRNA President Devman Hirachan and former president Upendra Mahato.

This is just a talk. These people are not going to anything for Nepal and Nepali people. I do not undestand why these people are giving false hope to Nepali people. NRP was formed 5/6 years ago. Is there a single example NRN has done anything for Nepali people other than asking Dual Citizenship for themselves.



Nepal will be developed by Nepali people who are living in the country not by these self propomter egoist.
