PARSA, July 31: Police held Parsa in-charge of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) Jwala Singh group, an armed outfit operating in the Tarai.

Bhaju Patel alias Akash Singh, of Lalparsa was arrested with weapon from his home. Police seized a home-made gun and two rounds of bullets from him, according to Superintendent of Police Rajendra Man Shrestha at Parsa District Police Office.

Patel is also claimed to be Bara district in-charge of the group.

Meanwhile, Nepal Army bomb disposal team defused a socket bomb left on the main road in front of Eye Hospital in Parwanipur.
