BARDIBAS, April 13: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-N) Chaiman Kamal Thapa said on Friday a referendum should be held on issues of secularism, federalism and monarchy.
Thapa, who has arrived Bardibas in the course of party works, said this while addressing a gathering of his party cadres Thursday.
They would launch a door-to-door campaign to press for reinstatement of constitutional monarchy, rather than resorting to a rebellion, he said.
Even if the constitution gets promulgated within May 27, it would not prevent the country from plunging into conflict, Thapa claimed, reasoning that political parties are accomplishing the significant task of constitution writing on whim and in haste.
