  Govt to register bill on amendment to Article 70

KATHMANDU, April 19: The government has decided to register the bill to amend Article 70 of the interim constitution that would facilitate political parties to shorten procedure for the promulgation of the new constitution.

A cabinet meeting on Thursday evening took a decision to this effect . The meeting also decided to appoint a three-member probe panel headed former Supreme Court justice Krishna Basyal to investigate the murder of Jhapa-based journalist Yadav Poudel.
